Bando Ramen: Rich Japanese Ramen in Luzhou's Alleys

Luzhou Dist., New Taipei City
Gourmet
Bando Ramen is located near the Luzhou Yonglian Temple business district and is known for its high cost-performance ratio, making it a local favorite.
The restaurant is small, and the number of seats inside is limited, so there is always a line during meal times. This time, we came around 8 PM, and the dinner crowd had gradually dispersed.

There are only about 12 seats in the restaurant, so it is often full during meal times.
The restaurant is very considerate, providing coat racks for customers to hang their coats and a place to put bags under the tables.

Looking at these decorations, it feels like you are in Japan.

Very generously, free noodle refills are available, up to 2 balls per person. With a student ID, you can also get a free bowl of white rice.

The ramen types are actually very simple, divided into 2 soup bases. The difference between Ramen and Bando Ramen is whether it has an egg or not. The Nori Ramen and Chashu Ramen are topped with lots of nori seaweed, while the other is topped with lots of chashu pork and chicken slices. This is a type I have never dared to try because there is so much. You can see it on the menu with photos at the entrance.

This time, we ordered the Ramen (without egg) and Bando Ramen (with egg), plus a bowl of chashu pork rice.

You can choose normal or hard noodles, and you can also choose salty or light soup, depending on your preference.

Two slices of chashu pork and one slice of chicken are served with red onion, green onion, nori seaweed, and black beans.

The chashu pork doesn't have much fat, so it doesn't feel greasy.

The chicken slices are also very flavorful and not dry at all, very tender. And the soup is the soul of the ramen. Whether it is delicious or not depends entirely on the soup, and the soup here completely captures my taste buds. It has been cooked to a slightly viscous consistency, super rich, and very amazing at first taste. No wonder there is a line every meal time.

The soft-boiled egg and ramen are a perfect match. Don't forget to refill your noodles if you're not full. This bowl is so cost-effective!

Also, this bowl of chashu pork rice is a must-order every time I come. I highly recommend it, and you should definitely try it at least once.

The chashu pork is drizzled with sauce and grilled, so the burnt aroma immediately spreads in your mouth, and then sprinkled with some fresh green onions, adding full points to both the visual and taste, a super delicious bowl of rice.

In addition, a new flavor has been launched. Friends who like spicy food can also try it!
