Best Hot Pot: Generous Main Courses and Unlimited Buffet Featuring Fresh Vegetables and Desserts.

Sanchong Dist., New Taipei City
Gourmet
Best Hot Pot (貝斯鍋物) is a hot pot brand extension of the "Best Wedding Venue" (貝斯薇榳婚宴會館) group. It opened in Sanchong, New Taipei City, in October 2024, right next door to the wedding hall itself. Positioned as a high-quality, affordable hot pot restaurant suitable for gatherings, its core concept is high value (CP value): ordering main courses a la carte while offering an all-you-can-eat buffet of vegetables and hot pot ingredients. The restaurant provides various soup bases, ample meat selections, and seafood platters. The interior design blends an industrial aesthetic with the quality feel of a wedding venue. Indoor parking and online reservation services are also available.

The dining space is expansive, featuring dark wood walls complemented by red brick arches, combining modern and retro elements. Most seating consists of four-person tables with generous spacing, creating a warm and unconfined atmosphere that is perfect for family and friend gatherings.

The consumption model involves "selecting the main dish (meat/seafood) and choosing the soup base," while vegetables, hot pot ingredients, drinks, and desserts are all offered via the all-you-can-eat buffet (note: no items from the buffet can be taken away). The buffet area is stocked with various vegetables, mushrooms, hot pot essentials, alongside white rice, braised pork rice (Lu Rou Fan), savory glutinous rice (You Fan), noodles, and glass noodles. Plus, there is a drinks bar, ice cream, and sweet soups, emphasizing satisfaction without waste.

On weekdays (Monday to Friday) around 14:00–16:00, the restaurant offers promotions such as "Lunch Diner Meat Upgrade" or "Free Meat Quantity Increase," making it a highly recommended high CP value period by many bloggers. The establishment also frequently runs seasonal promotions like dice games and birthday discounts.

The main courses include pork, beef, chicken, and lamb. Seafood platters can be chosen with combinations featuring lobster, sliced squid, tiger prawns, white shrimp, scallops, abalone, small squid, clams, and oysters. The emphasis is on the freshness and variety of the seafood, making it ideal for sharing among multiple diners.

The selection of soup bases is diverse, with approximately 8 options currently available. The Kelp Bonito Broth is the standard base requiring no extra charge. Others, such as the Chongqing Spicy Pot and the Pepper Pig Tripe Pot, incur an additional fee ranging from NT$39 to NT$99. Newly introduced options include the Pickled Chili Pepper Chicken Pot, the Cordyceps Militaris Pot, Sesame Oil Chicken Pot, and the Spicy Milk Pot, ensuring you can satisfy your cravings for winter nourishment, health-focused options, and spicy flavor all at once.

Best Hot Pot is not a traditional old eatery but a leader among newer chain brands dedicated to enhancing the dining quality. The Taiwanese passion for hot pot goes beyond mere fullness; it pursues diverse choices and a premium experience. The most appealing aspect of this establishment is the peace of mind you get while dining. The main courses are substantial, and the buffet options are plentiful. Whether you come for the meat, the vegetables, or simply to find a place to sit and chat with friends, you will find satisfaction in a steaming pot of delicious broth.
