Xinshe Castle: European Romance, Wedding Photos & Family Fun in Taichung

Xinshe Dist., Taichung City
Sightseeing
Romantic European Architecture, Perfect for Wedding Photos, and a Huge Playground for Kids to Run Wild!
Xinshe Castle, also known as Xinshe Castle Garden, has a large parking lot, and the park covers a vast area. It is a popular attraction in Taichung.

The beautiful European architecture showcases different styles in different seasons. This time, we visited in mid-February, and some flowers were in full bloom, while some had already withered. Although slightly desolate, the scenery is still romantic and charming.

Xinshe Castle is located on the dividing ridge between Taiping District and Beitun District in Taichung City, with an altitude of approximately 500~860 meters and an average annual temperature of approximately 23 degrees, making it suitable for hiking.

The charming maple forest stands tall and majestic. There are tables and chairs in the forest for tourists to rest.

The European-style buildings and stone roads in the park make you feel like you are in a small European village.

In addition, there are also unique landscapes such as Misty Waterfall, Rainbow Bridge, Tree House, Special Hexagon Restaurant, Wooden House Restaurant, and Roman Arch Fountain Pool.

The winery restaurant offers Chinese and Western cuisine.
