Xiaowulai Skywalk, Taoyuan: Waterfalls & Sky Bridges Day Trip

Fuxing Dist., Taoyuan City
Sightseeing
The Xiaowulai Skywalk is located in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, suspended above the Xiaowulai Waterfall. To realize the dream of tourists walking in the clouds, the Taoyuan City Government spent NT$8 million to build this skywalk.

There are thoughtful reminders at the ticket office, which are nothing more than some reminders not to smoke, eat, or chew betel nuts when visiting, and strictly prohibit running, making noise, climbing, or shaking. It is best for friends who come here to understand it first, so as not to violate the rules in the park, hurt each other's harmony, and spoil the fun of the trip, which would be bad.

Important: Remember to keep the ticket stub! The sky bridge behind it is still useful!
The bottom of the trail is a reinforced glass structure, with a corridor extending 11 meters into the air. Visitors can stand on the glass platform 70 meters above the bottom of the waterfall to enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful Xiaowulai Creek Valley and the magnificent waterfall landscape. , challenging a new 360-degree vision, known as the mini version of the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

Yes, yes, the bottom must be transparent! It's just a little regret... it's over before my feet even have time to tingle.

Pets, explosives, umbrellas, crutches, tripods or other items that may damage the surface of the glass platform are strictly prohibited on the trail, and running or climbing is prohibited. If you repeatedly refuse to listen to advice, you will be immediately asked to leave this area.

The Wind-Moving Stone, formerly known as the "Ghost Stone", was located next to the Xiaowulai Skywalk. The bottom support area is only 0.5 square meters, and it looks like it is about to fall, but it remains motionless, which is amazing to the magic of nature. However, in July 2013, it was no match for Typhoon Soulik. The Wind-Moving Stone has rolled to the riverbed, which means that abbey was one step late and could not witness the majestic posture of this martial arts master.

It takes about 5 to 8 minutes to walk from the Skywalk to reach

Of course, there is also a notice to pay attention to at the entrance. Also, the ticket stubs used at the Skywalk earlier will be checked by staff at the entrance here, which means that a hole will be punched in the ticket stub to indicate that it has been used on the Sky Bridge! It is equivalent to the initial 50 yuan ticket, which can be used to visit the Skywalk + Sky Bridge.

The Sky Rope Bridge, which opened in 2015, is considered one of the longest rope bridges in the country.
The width of the bridge surface is about one meter, and the total length is seventy meters. The rope bridge is built in the Dali Gan Creek Valley about fifty meters above the ground. Although the structural design strength has been planned to be able to carry 120 tons of weight at the beginning of construction, the wind resistance has been specially installed on both sides of the bridge. The main cable is to avoid strong winds causing the rope to snake and sway too much. However, compared to the main cable of the Skywalk being above, the main cable of the rope bridge is installed below the trail. In addition, the co-vibration effect of the steps of the front and rear tourists makes the suspension bridge feel particularly shaky along the way. The special high-altitude challenge can really fully feel the visual stimulation and sensory shock.

After crossing the Sky Rope Bridge, let's move forward to the Longfeng Waterfall! Look at this long corridor, it has a special artistic conception.

There is a platform below where you can admire + take pictures. It is also very spectacular to look up from below.

The place to come out is below the Sky Rope Bridge just now. The Sky Rope Bridge only has a single direction to enter, so you will not walk the same way again when you come out.
